Angelfire again

Angelfire..... now that I'm thinking about it I am liking it less and less. I used to think Stephanie Meyer was the worst author in the world, but Courtney Allison Moulton is definitely worse. To me, she's one of those authors that thinks that even though you are writing from the POV of a teenager, you can just be sloppy and casual, but you should only do that in your dialogue. The writing itself should be perfect.... well not necessarily perfect but still sort of formal and descriptive, you know? The book was awful. Well, awful writing. The concept of the story was really gripping, but again, we have the one special person in the world who has the completely awesomely dangerous job who wants to be a normal teen thing I know I mentioned this before but I cannot tell you how much that pisses me! Excuse my language, but seriously guys, get a life. I am thinking that if I wrote a book I would have one person who has that kind of job, but have the main character be that person's best friend/guardian/apprentice/helper person... I hope the next two books in the Angelfire series are more well written. I'm willing to give those two books a chance.
